DRY FRUIT CHUTNEY

Dried fruit provides fiber,vitamin A and potassium.Eat too many dried fruits on a daily basis they are good for your health.
When I was making peanut chutney ,my husband said why don't you try to make dry fruit chutney in the same way.
As he said last week I made dry fruit chutney.It was good.We liked it.Thanks to my husband to gave me such a wonderful idea.
You can make healthy sandwich by using this chutney along with cheese topping.This sandwich makes a great healthy school lunch.Otherwise you can eat it as you like.......:) Hope you will try it.Leave your comments.

Ingredients:-

1. 1 cup almonds(badam)

2. 1 cup walnuts (akrod)

3. 1 cup cashew(kaju)

4. 1 cup black raisins(manuka)

5. 1tsp red chili powder

6. 2 tsp paprika

7. 1 tbsp coriander powder(optional)

8. 1 tbsp oregano (optional)

9. 1 tsp olive oil or vegetable oil

10. salt to test
Procedure:-
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.Add almonds and roast it well.Remove it.Then add walnut in the same pan and roast it .Remove it and add cashew and roast it.If you want you can add more dry fruits such as pista,pecan.....Roast all separately and mix it together.
2. Take little quantity of it in a blender.
3. Blend it coarsely.Same as this blend all mixture.
4. Remove it in a bowl and add red chili powder,paprika,coriander powder,oregano and salt.Mix it well. And ready to eat...:)

PENUT CHUTNEY (SHENGDANYCHI CHUTNEY)


Chutney is a term for a variety of sweet and spicy condiments, usually involving a fresh, chopped primary vegetable or fruit with added seasonings.

In India, a chutney is often made to be eaten fresh.Chutney is similar in consistency to jelly, salsa or relish.The ingredients are mixed together and then simmered slowly. While chutney is primarily sweet and sour, there can also be many variations of spices, often giving it a hot and spicy flavor.

The Hindi translation of "to make chutney" means "to crush".

Chutney may be dry or wet;dry chutney is generally in the form of powder.It can be stored for a few months.It can be eaten with plain rice,roti or bread.

Yesterday I made peanut chutney.My daughter and husband liked it very much.:)
It's so easy...so easy...and so easy...:)

Ingredients:-


1.1 cup peanut powder(shengdanyache kut)

2. 2 tsp cumin powder(jeera powder)

3. 1/2 tb butter(ghee)

4. 1/2 tb red chili powder( depends on your test)

5. salt to test
Procedure:-

1. Mix all the ingredients very well.


2. Store it in clean,dry glass bottle for a few months.Don't need to store refrigerator.
