PENUT CHUTNEY (SHENGDANYCHI CHUTNEY)


Chutney is a term for a variety of sweet and spicy condiments, usually involving a fresh, chopped primary vegetable or fruit with added seasonings.

In India, a chutney is often made to be eaten fresh.Chutney is similar in consistency to jelly, salsa or relish.The ingredients are mixed together and then simmered slowly. While chutney is primarily sweet and sour, there can also be many variations of spices, often giving it a hot and spicy flavor.

The Hindi translation of "to make chutney" means "to crush".

Chutney may be dry or wet;dry chutney is generally in the form of powder.It can be stored for a few months.It can be eaten with plain rice,roti or bread.

Yesterday I made peanut chutney.My daughter and husband liked it very much.:)
It's so easy...so easy...and so easy...:)

Ingredients:-


1.1 cup peanut powder(shengdanyache kut)

2. 2 tsp cumin powder(jeera powder)

3. 1/2 tb butter(ghee)

4. 1/2 tb red chili powder( depends on your test)

5. salt to test
Procedure:-

1. Mix all the ingredients very well.


2. Store it in clean,dry glass bottle for a few months.Don't need to store refrigerator.

PENUT POWDER(SHENGDANA KUT)

What you need:-
1. 1 kg. peanut(shengdana)

Procedure:-
1. Place skillet on stove top on medium heat.Add peanut.


2. Slowly roast the peanuts .Stir in between them.

3. Roast peanuts to golden brown colour until you get the smell of the peanuts.

4. They should be roasted well.Cool them and rub the skins and blow out all the skins.

5. Put it in a blender.
6. Grind it very coarsely.
7. Transfer it in clean dry jar and store it for about 1 month.

TIP:- 1. If you roast peanuts on low heat ,it's test will comes good.
2. It used in dry vegetables,gravy,and different types of chutney.
