CABBAGE WADI(KOBICHI WADI)

Last week I made cabbage wadi(kobichi wadi).I want to share it with you.
It made from ,of course cabbage, along with chickpea flour(besan)and some spices.Its test was too good.
This easy dish makes an excellent appetizer, snack, or main entree. Yum!

Ingredients:-
1. 3 cup washed,grated cabbage

2. 10 tb chickpea (basen) flour

3. 2 tb cumin-coriander powder

4.1/2 tsp turmeric

5. 1 tsp red chili powder

6. 5,6 sprig coriander leaves chopped


7. oil for shallow fry

8. salt to test




Procedure:-
1. Add salt into grated cabbage and mix well.Keep aside for 10,15 min.Then add all ingredients except oil .
2. Mix well and make dough.Do not add water.If you need add chickpea flour.
3. Divide dough into two parts and place them on a pre-greased plate as shown below.
4. Steam for about 15,20 minutes. You can also steam them in pressure cooker.(about2,3 whistle) I steamed it in an electric rice cooker .
5. After it done, cool them and cut them.Meanwhile heat pan over medium heat.Spread oil and arrange all wadi on pan as shown below.
6. Fry both side until golden brown.
7. Serve hot.
